Elsie grew up in a troubled household, her father being generally abusive, especially to her mother, and he was frequently
coming and going until finally he left Elsie's mother for good. Elsie's mother took it upon herself to try and warn Elsie
to stay away from men like her father, but despite these warnings Elsie never seemed to have much luck in dating. This all
culiminated in an incident in high school where Elsie's boyfriend punched her, causing her to lose a tooth. Elsie always
found music to be an escape and taught herself to play guitar after receiving an acoustic guitar as a present one year
for Christmas when she was young. After graduating high school, Elsie worked various minimum-wage jobs in an effort to
get enough money to buy an electric guitar, buying it in pieces and assembling it herself. After Greta went away to
college, Elsie and she kept in touch until finally Greta dropped out and returned home. Together, Elsie and Greta met Brent
and Ramana and soon joined Silver Stopper, moving to Carlson's Corners. After the band fell apart, Elsie and Greta remained
in Carlson's Corners, sharing an apartment. Shortly after Wes' arrival, Elsie left suddenly for reasons she found difficult
to express. She returned not long after in order to visit with Wes, seeking spiritual and emotional guidance.
She is now residing out of town as she seeks to reconcile her life.

Elsie is missing her left fang and never bothered to have it replaced. She wanted it to be a reminder to her so that
she would never allow herself to be taken advantage of again. She has multiple ear piercings and enjoys
wearing ripped-up clothes.

Elsie is a very passionate person and expresses much of her emotions through her music. She is a loyal friend, although
she can be very independent and is accustomed to being alone if she needs to be.
