Kaylie Calcutta
First Appearance: Episode #2
Species: Cat/Raccoon
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Kaylie has lived in Carlson's Corners her entire life, growing up on her family's farm, helping her mother with many of
the household chores while her two older brothers took care of most of the manual labor. However, many times Kaylie had to
pitch in as well, so she's learned the value of good, honest work. Once Kaylie was old enough to find work, her father
encouraged her to get a job and Kaylie has worked at a variety of places since that time. Unfortunately, Kaylie tends
to be easily distracted and doesn't acquire new skills quickly, so she usually isn't able to hold on to a job for long. Her
latest endeavor was getting a job as a car hop at B.W.'s Burgers... even though she didn't know how to skate. Thankfully,
she met Greta, who agreed to teach her and is now showing a bit of progress. Kaylie became quickly enamored with Wes
and in her usual impulsive act-first think-later nature, she asked Wes out on a date. Not knowing that she was asking
him out for this reason, Wes agreed, much to Greta's dismay. Of course, Greta can't be too upset with Kaylie, because Kaylie
volunteered to move in and become Greta's new roommate after Elsie left suddenly.
Kaylie favors her mother's feline characteristics most of all, but she does have a particularly bushy stiped tail, which
comes from her father. Kaylie also has straight, long, blonde hair, of which she is extremely proud, and only has it
trimmed by her mother once in awhile when it starts to get a bit too long. She is a great dancer and has a lot of natural
rhythm. She's also a very safe driver, much to Wes and Greta's surprise.
Flighty, breezy and a bit unpredictable, Kaylie stumbles through life with a childlike innocence that makes her so
endearing. Naive and unaware of the effects her actions may have on people, Kaylie tends never to get discouraged, but
retains a constant attitude of optimism. She has a very giving nature, sometimes allowing others to take advantage of her
without realizing it. Sweet and adorable, she can bring even the most resolute people to their knees with "the look".
