Unfortunately, the romance between Brent and Ramana proved to be fatal for Silver Stopper. Brent
had a well-known history of flirting with women before and after the shows, although he swore that
nothing ever happened. Ramana always remained faithful to Brent, enduring the flirting, until one
night she cheated on Brent with another guy. Brent's side of the argument is that while he
flirted, he never actually cheated... Ramana's side of the argument is that Brent's flirting
amounted to cheating anyhow and that the one encounter she had with the other guy was a moment of
weakness when Brent had been ignoring her.

The rest of the band really didn't want to get involved one way or the other and as the hostility
between Brent and Ramana grew, eventually the band fell apart and everyone moved back to their
respective homes, except Greta and Elsie, who wound up stranded in Carlson's Corners, neither
wanting to return home.

Greta and Elsie still kept in touch with everyone. Scott has always been laid back and is easy to
get along with, so he talks with everyone as well. Brent and Ramana still refuse to even speak of
each other, so the likelihood of a band reunion seems impossible at the moment.
